Loss Prevention Program

It takes a village (town and city) to prevent loss. Every dollar spent on a claim increases risk transfer costs, which means that preventing claims from happening doesn’t just protect your community, it protects all SUMAssure members.

Developed in partnership with Aon, the Loss Prevention Program is a free online risk management program with a number of inspection checklists to help identify and document risks, including:

  • General property risk exposures
  • Liability/casualty risk exposures
  • Arena-specific inspection supplements
  • Preventative maintenance checklist supplements

Each checklist can easily be filled out from your iPhone, iPad, tablet, laptop, or desktop.

In addition, members who join the Loss Prevention Program will have access to the Asset Management program, a library of informative bulletins, videos, and other risk management resources.

What is the cost?

Nothing! The program is free to all SUMAssure members!

Is this program mandatory or optional?

No, this program is not mandatory and is optional to join. However, we highly encourage you do!

What is the time commitment?

There is an initial one-hour training session with an Aon Risk Control Consultant. The inspections take approximately one hour each.
